Gemeinsam schufen der weltberühmte Golfstar Nick Price und der nicht minder bekannte Golfarchitekt Ronald Fream eine einzigartige Anlage mit 18 Löchern und 27 wunderschönen Greens, die dem Golfspieler die Möglichkeit bieten, den selben Platz mit immer anderen Greens und Herausforderungen mehrmals zu bespielen. Das ausgefeilte Design ermöglichte es, die Greens und die Schutzbunker so zu positionieren, dass sich der Spieler bei einer 18-Loch-Runde auf äußerst reizvolle Herausforderungen freuen kann. Die Positionierung der Abschlagsmarkierungen trug weiter dazu bei, die Anlage noch abwechslungsreicher zu gestalten.

The Gramacho Golf Course, in Carvoeiro, Algarve, was originally a nine hole golf course which has been extended and cleverly redesigned to become a fully fledged 18-hole course. Nick Price, the former world Nr.1 player, has teamed up with the well-known golf course architect, Ronald Fream, to create the unique Gramacho Golf Course. This 18 holes golf course has 27 greens, plus numerous different tee points, where players are able to enjoy the same course time and time again but always with slightly different challenges.
At Gramacho Golf Course Algarve, the greens and protective bunkers are strategically placed to offer a genuine challenge. The positioning of the tee markers helps to increase this variety still further. As in the case of its sister course Pinta Golf, Gramacho Golf Course is maintained at tournament standard all all year round.

Der 1992 eröffnete Meisterschaftsplatz wurde vom berühmten amerikanischen Architekten Ronald Fream entworfen und hat bereits acht mal in Folge ein Turnier der European Seniors Tour ausgetragen.
Seinen guten Ruf hat der Platz sich aufgrund des aussergewöhnlich hohen Pflegeniveaus und des abwechslungsreichen Designs erworben. Die Bermuda-Fairways sind strategisch und fair positioniert, ebenso die Bunker um die Pen Cross Grüns herum und die zwei Wasserhindernisse, die das Spiel beträchtlich beeinflussen.

El Campo de Pinta es uno de los mejores campos de diseñados en Europa. Es un campo de campeonato con un excepcional recorrido diseñado por el famoso arquitecto americano de golf, Ronald Fream e inaugurado en 1992. Se ha ganado una merecida reputación por sus excelentes condiciones de mantenimiento del campo, y su diseño, lo que lo convierte en un reto para los golfistas de todos los niveles.
Los fairways de césped Bermuda, muy bien situados bunkers de arena protegen los green fees.El ondulado terreno se salpicó con algarrobos, higueras, almendros y olivos, algunos de los cuales más de 600 años, y una característica muy especial de este curso es un árbol de oliva que se remonta a más de 1200 años.
El tamaño de los greens se adecua a la longitud de las jugadas de aproximación. El curso es 6.115 metros de longitud y es un par 71. Es seguro que será apreciado por los golfistas experimentados, para quien un partido de este campo proporcionará emoción genuina y jugar un día memorable y agradable.
