Alto Golf Course :
Alto Golf Course Hcp max: men28 - Ladies36 Alto Golf is situated near the picturesque village of Alvor.  Extraordinary white sandy beaches, clear blue sea and fascinating cliffs are part of its charm.  This was the last course designed by the legendary Sir Henry Cotton, the triple winner of the British Open.
It embodies his belief that a golf course should test players with low handicaps, but also provide a pleasant game for golfers of only average ability.  After his death, the project was continued by Peter Dobereiner, a well known golf journalist. The course, with the beautiful Monchique mountains as its backdrop, runs through two valleys and offers winding fairways and gently undulating greens. On the first nine holes players have the added pleasure of enjoying an excellent view over Lagos Bay.  The last nine holes face inland, running through gentle mountain slopes to include hole number 16, which is said to be the longest hole in Europe: 604 metres for a Par 5.  Any player who manages a birdie here will receive a certificate and his or her name will be inscribed on the club's roll of honour. All the other holes on the course are named, but this one has a special title: The Giant.

The Gramacho Golf Course, in Carvoeiro, Algarve, was originally a nine hole golf course which has been extended and cleverly redesigned to become a fully fledged 18-hole course. Nick Price, the former world Nr.1 player, has teamed up with the well-known golf course architect, Ronald Fream, to create the unique Gramacho Golf Course. This 18 holes golf course has 27 greens, plus numerous different tee points, where players are able to enjoy the same course time and time again but always with slightly different challenges.
At Gramacho Golf Course Algarve, the greens and protective bunkers are strategically placed to offer a genuine challenge. The positioning of the tee markers helps to increase this variety still further. As in the case of its sister course Pinta Golf, Gramacho Golf Course is maintained at tournament standard all all year round.

Vila Sol Championship Golf :
Vila Sol Championship Golf Hcp max: men28 - Ladies36 The course is laid out on ideal undulating terrain in amongst natural woods, mainly pine, carob and fig trees, and little artificial landscaping was required during construction. Several water hazards were, however, introduced. The original 18-hole course, opened in 1991, was the venue of the Portuguese Open in 1992 / 3. In September 2000, a third 9 hole loop was completed, allowing for three different combinations of 18 holes. With its large, contoured and often speedy greens, together with several long, testing par-4 holes, the course is an excellent challenge for golfers of all handicap levels.
