Barcelo Bavaro The Lakes Golf Course Hcp max: men/Ladies 36 Located on the east cost of the beautiful Caribbean Island of The Dominican Republic, this breath taking 1991room luxurious resort ,invites you to enjoy the first golf course ever built in the Bavaro / Punta Cana area over 20 years a go. Re-design by renowned acquitted P.B Dye in 2010 this Championship golf course keep his original essence, the rolling fairways that traverses trough a lush mangrove forest, with 25 inland lakes and 122 strategically positioned bunkers, the golf course capitalizes on the natural beauty of the Bávaro area, incorporating native plants and species, around it's meticulously manicured greens providing you best playing surface with the highest industry standards.

At 6,655 yards from the professional tees, the 18-hole, par-72 championship course is the newest and most visited course on the Bávaro / Punta Cana Area.

Punta Blanca Golf Course :
Punta Blanca Golf Course Hcp max: men/Ladies 36 The Punta Blanca golf course is an inland course built in the Punta Blanca residential development in Bavaro. Designed by Nick Price, it is built around natural wetlands and features wide fairways with large waste bunkers. Many of the holes require carries over wetland areas.
Fairways are surrounded by a 1st cut of rough on which the ball sits up nicely. If the ball goes beyond the 1st cut of rough there's only guinea grass and dense vegetation left and finding a ball there is almost impossible much less playing it from there if you should find it.  
Driving range in front of the club house has no distance markers and there's a small putting green in front of the club house terrace  
The vegetation changes between the front and back 9. While the front 9 displays the scenery of a typical Florida course the back is more distinct with the wetlands in play on 13 and 15.
It's a nice layout which should appeal to golfers of all levels.
